Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It reads as San Francisco to most people — the steep hillside, the tram tracks running down the centre, the painted timber facades with bay windows and external fire escapes are all classic cues. There's no signage or landmark spelling it out, so it also works as a general bright city scene if you'd rather not pin it to one place.

Most of the print is actually soft sky blue and cream — the mustard, mint and coral are saved for the buildings, which take up maybe a third of the image. In a pale, neutral room it reads as one cheerful focal point rather than a colour bomb. Pulling one of those facade colours into a cushion or vase helps it settle in.

Yes — the road and tram tracks run straight down the centre and slightly into the distance, so your eye travels downward and forward. That makes it a good fit above a sofa or console where you want the wall to feel like it has depth, and less ideal somewhere you want a perfectly symmetrical, static image.
