About This Art

After the afternoon light shifts, the living room suddenly has a pulse. The greens lift, the pink in the sky warms up, and the wall stops feeling flat. It pulls a calm, outdoors mood into the room without taking over — softer than a photograph, more grown-up than a pure pastel. Hang it above a sofa, a sideboard, or in a quiet reading corner where the eye can rest on it. Pairs well with linen upholstery, pale oak, cream throws, and a single stoneware lamp in a warm tone. Skip busy patterned wallpaper or another statement landscape right next to it — this one wants room to breathe. Printed on heavyweight fine-art paper with a soft matte finish.

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does the pink in the sky read as pink, or more as a warm grey?

It sits between the two. The sky is mostly soft grey-white with broken bands of dusty pink and peach across the middle, so it reads as warm rather than candy-pink. In a room with cream walls and warm wood, the pink notes lift gently; against cool grey walls, the same areas pull more towards a soft grey.

Is the painting heavy at the bottom, or balanced top to bottom?

The bottom third is heavier, with thicker brushwork and darker greens in the foreground fields. The sky takes up roughly the top half and is much lighter. That means it sits best above lower furniture — a sofa, sideboard, or low dresser — so the weight of the foreground lands above eye level rather than below.

Will this look right in a small room, or is it only for big walls?

It works in both, but the size matters. In a small room, go for a medium piece so the sky still has room to breathe — a print that fills the whole wall will feel busier than the image suggests. In a larger room with a tall wall, size up to large or statement so the loose brushwork reads properly from across the room.
