About This Art

At 6pm, the cocktail hour turns from nice idea to main character. This painterly Picante poster brings the bar feeling into your kitchen, dining room or home bar without the clutter of a real drinks trolley. The deep red backdrop wakes up a pale wall, the soft pink table edge keeps things friendly, and the green title across the top adds a confident graphic edge. Hang it above a sideboard, near the kettle, or on a feature wall above a drinks cabinet. It works alongside warm woods, brass handles, terracotta tiles and stoneware in cream and clay. Skip it if your kitchen is already loud with red accents or busy tile patterns — this print wants room to breathe.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the deep red overwhelm a small kitchen?

The red is warm rather than fire-engine bright, and it's balanced by a big block of soft pink and cream across the lower half. In a small kitchen with pale walls, it reads as a friendly accent rather than a shouty one. Keep nearby surfaces calm — neutral tiles, plain tea towels, wood or stoneware — and it settles in nicely.

Does it work in a dining room as well as a kitchen?

Yes. Above a sideboard or behind a small dining table it brings cocktail-hour energy without needing a full bar set-up. It pairs especially well with warm wood furniture, rattan or cane chairs, and a soft pink or warm white wall. Hang at eye level, with a hand's width of clear wall on each side so the red has room to breathe.

Will it clash with terracotta tiles or warm earth tones?

Not at all — the red and soft pink sit in the same warm family as terracotta and clay, and the touch of green from the lime adds a useful contrast. It's a riskier match with cool greys, icy blues or very minimalist white kitchens, where the warmth can feel out of place. Warm rooms welcome it.
