Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

On a chalky off-white wall the mustard reads warm rather than loud, because the dark backdrop around the poodle gives the colour a frame. If your walls are cool white or pale grey it will sit forward more, so consider an oak or black frame to soften the jump.

It's deliberately loose — visible brushstrokes on the poodle's coat, scratched marks across the dark backdrop, and slightly uneven edges on the pizza slice. Up close it reads as a painting, not a clean digital illustration, which is the point.

Both work. The subject is clearly playful enough for a kid's room or playroom, but the painted handling and grown-up palette of mustard, terracotta and near-black mean it doesn't look out of place in a living room or kitchen-diner either.
