All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

• Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  
• We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  
• Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  
• Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The composition is built around Porto — the hillside stacking, the river-facing houses and the small harbour boat read as the Douro waterfront. It's stylised rather than literal, so anyone who knows Portugal will recognise it, but it also reads more broadly as a warm Southern European harbour scene.

It sits happily against off-white, cream, pale plaster and soft greige walls. Against strong terracotta or deep red walls, the pink can feel muddled — try it on a cooler or neutral wall, or break up the surrounding palette with pale wood and linen.

It's a packed scene, but the palette is soft and the boat anchors the foreground, so the eye has somewhere to land. In a small hallway or bedroom, stick to a medium size and keep the surrounding walls and furnishings calm — let the print be the loudest thing in the room.
