Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

They sit just left of centre, partly hidden behind the tall grasses. From across the room they read as shadow; up close you'll see two distinct faces looking out. Most buyers describe it as a slow reveal — the picture keeps rewarding closer looks rather than giving everything away on first glance.

It can. The picture is dense and the dark greens carry weight. In a small room, give it the main wall and keep the surrounding furnishings quiet — pale walls, natural timber, one or two real plants. If your small room already feels packed, this won't lighten it; pick something airier instead.

We reproduce from a high-resolution scan of the 1909 painting and keep the greens, shadows and pale blooms true to the original. The exhibition-style border and typography are added — the painted area itself is faithful to Rousseau's colour and brushwork, not stylised or recoloured.
