Buy the scribble cat for the story. Keep it for the black. The story is the drawing itself — a cat built from one restless tangle of lines that only turns into an animal when you step back. On a wall it does the job a plant can't: it breaks up flat paint with movement, without adding a single new colour to the room. Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?
If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.
We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Does it still look like a cat from a distance?
Yes — it actually reads better from a few steps back. Close up you see the loops and overlaps; from around two metres the shape resolves into a seated cat with clear ears, chest and tail. That is why we suggest hanging it at eye level on a wall you walk past rather than tucking it into a tight corner.
Will the thin lines get lost at a small size?
Some of the finest loops do soften in the smallest sizes, so a medium is the safer choice if you want the drawing to hold its detail. Small works if it is going somewhere you pass close, like a narrow hallway or above a desk, where you view it from under a metre away.
Can I hang it in a colourful room, or does the wall need to be white?
A plain wall helps most, but it does not have to be white. Grey, deep blue or dark green painted walls all work because the drawing is pure black on a light ground, so it stays legible. What it struggles against is patterned wallpaper, where the loops and the pattern fight each other.
