Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Yes, though it changes character. At smaller sizes the coat reads as soft grey texture and the curled shape carries the piece from a distance. If you want to see the individual curls and the drawn lines up close, go a size up and hang it where people pass within a couple of metres.

It reads as a clean, bright white with only the faintest grey where the shading fades out. On an off-white or magnolia wall the print will look crisper than the wall behind it, which is usually flattering. On a stark white wall the edges soften, so a thin frame helps define it.

It does. Because the palette is only white, grey and near-black, it behaves like a neutral and sits with warm woods, greens or blues without competing. If the rest of the room is very colourful, keep the frame simple and give it clear wall on both sides so it reads as deliberate.
