About This Art

Walk into the bedroom and the first thing you meet is the wall behind the bed. Give that wall this meadow and the room reads as a garden before you have taken a second step. Pink does the greeting. Deep green does the settling. At a metre wide it runs the full length of a double headboard, so nothing on that wall needs to compete. White cotton bedding under it, a painted timber headboard in off-white or sage, one lamp with a linen shade. Skip anything patterned. Where daylight comes from the side, the daisies catch it first and the greens stay quiet behind them. From the doorway that is what you notice. The bed stops being furniture and becomes the view. On canvas the brushwork keeps its texture and the bedside lamp throws no reflection.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the deep greens make a north-facing bedroom feel dark?

Less than you would expect. The greens are muted rather than black, and the sandy clearing and pink flowers hold light even in flat daylight. Keep the wall behind it pale, cream or chalky sage, and put one warm lamp at the bedside. In a north-facing room the pink cools a little, which suits grey or white bedding well.

How wide should I go over a king-size bed?

Aim for the picture to cover roughly two thirds to the full width of the headboard. On a standard king that means 120cm across or more, so the meadow runs the length of the bed rather than floating in the middle. Leave a hand's width of wall between the headboard and the bottom edge, and hang nothing either side.

Does the pink work in a grey bedroom?

Yes, as long as the grey is warm rather than blue. The pink here is dusty, closer to old roses than candy, and it sits well against warm greige walls, oatmeal carpet and white bedding. Add one plain cushion in sage to tie the greens in. Cool steel greys make the pink look sugary, so shift the wall colour first if that is your scheme.
