About This Art

A bedroom this pared back can take one serious sage green. Soft trailing violas, cream petals and rounded leaves do the heavy lifting without raising their voice. The wall feels considered instead of bare, and the room reads softer overall. Hang it above a low headboard, a slim console or a reading chair — somewhere you sit still and look at it. It works best on a chalky off-white or warm stone wall, with linen bedding, pale oak and a stoneware lamp nearby. Avoid pairing it with anything loud or graphic; this is a piece that wants quiet company. Stretched over a wooden frame and ready to hang, with a soft matte surface that suits the watercolour feel.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the soft cream petals still read clearly on a white or off-white wall?

Yes, but only just — and that's part of the appeal. The petals sit gently against the chalky background, so on a pure white wall they look quiet rather than crisp. If you want stronger definition, hang it on a warm stone, soft greige or pale clay wall, or frame it with a thin oak frame and a small white mount to give the petals a clean edge.

Does the trailing composition mean it only works horizontally above a low piece of furniture?

It's strongest above something low — a headboard, console or sideboard — because the stems trail sideways and want room to breathe underneath. It can work between two windows or in a narrow hallway, but it's not the right shape for a tall, vertical wall or a stairwell drop where a portrait piece would suit better.

Is the green strong enough to count as the colour in an otherwise neutral room?

It is, just not loudly. The deeper sage leaves give the room a clear green note without turning the wall into a feature wall. If your room is genuinely all-neutral and you want one piece to bring colour in, this does the job quietly — pair it with linen, pale oak and a stoneware vase and the green pulls through the whole scheme.
