About This Art

Even the linen in here starts looking expensive next to warm brown. The brushwork is loose but deliberate — a tall black mark anchoring cream and soft beige.

What changes when it goes up is the temperature of the room. It pulls in the warm wood tones, calms down anything too white, and gives a sofa wall something to hold onto without shouting.

Hang it at eye level above a low console or sofa, or in an entryway where you want a quiet welcome rather than a colour hit.

It pairs well with linen, bouclé, oak, plaster lamps, and stoneware in oat and clay. A thin black or oak frame keeps the contrast crisp.

Don't park it next to busy florals or anything in saturated jewel colours — the brushwork wants room to breathe. Printed on heavyweight fine-art paper with rich blacks and clean cream.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the strong black brushstroke feel too heavy in a small or pale room?

It reads as a single confident anchor rather than a heavy block — the surrounding cream and soft brown carry most of the surface, so the black gives the wall weight without darkening the room. In small spaces, size down one tier and leave plain wall around it.

Does the composition pull left, right, or sit centred?

Visual weight sits slightly left of centre, where the tall black brushstroke runs vertically. Hang it centred on the wall and the eye still settles comfortably — no need to shift it off-axis. If pairing with another piece, place the partner to the right for balance.

Is this warm enough to sit next to oak and walnut, or will it read cool?

It reads warm. The cream is a soft oat rather than a stark white, and the brown brushwork is genuinely warm-toned — so it sits naturally next to oak, walnut, leather, and plaster rather than fighting them.
