Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The cat is a modern addition, sitting as a flat black silhouette on top of a faithful reproduction of Van Gogh's swirling sky. The original painting underneath is unchanged in tone and brushwork — only the cat is new, which is what gives the print its playful edge.

The yellow is warm rather than acid, and it's balanced by the deep green cypress and the soft blue-grey sky. In a calm room with cream walls and natural materials, it reads as a warm focal point rather than a loud one. It lifts a quiet room without taking it over.

The portrait orientation and tall cypress mean it works best above narrower furniture — a console, sideboard or desk — rather than centred above a wide sofa. Above a sofa it works if you flank it with something low and quiet on either side, but it's happiest as a vertical solo piece.
