About This Art

Go bigger than feels sensible. At 60cm across the mist reads as a grey smudge and the word at the bottom shrinks to a label. Past 90cm the valley opens up, the pale lake catches the eye from the doorway and the lettering sits quiet where it belongs. That size earns the wall above a sofa or a low bed, with a hand's width of clear plaster around it and nothing else competing. Deep teal against an off-white wall looks colder than you expect, so give it dark wood or a wool throw underneath to warm the corner. In a study it can go slightly smaller, since you sit closer to it. Leave the rest of the wall bare. On premium fine-art paper the soft grain of the mist holds, and a black frame keeps the edges crisp.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the teal look cold in my living room?

It can, if the room is already cool. The grey green sits closest to slate and sea glass, so against a pale grey wall in north light it reads chilly. Put warm wood or a rust or tan textile within a metre of it and the balance flips. On off-white, deep green or warm grey walls it settles in without any help.

Does the word on the artwork limit where it can go?

Less than you might expect. The lettering is small, pale and set low, so from across a room it reads as part of the mist rather than a slogan. It suits a study, a stair landing or a living room wall. The one place to think twice is a formal dining room, where a word can feel like a caption under the table.

Does it work behind a bed?

Yes, and it is one of the calmer choices for that wall. The horizontal spread matches a headboard and the mist gives the eye somewhere soft to land last thing at night. Keep bedding in white, oatmeal or charcoal rather than a competing blue, and hang it so the bottom edge sits a hand above the headboard.
