All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

• Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  
• We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  
• Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  
• Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

At medium size, no. The warm off-white ground takes up most of the image, so the black reads as a strong graphic accent rather than a dark mass. In a small study or hallway, it adds character without closing the room down. If you're worried, hang it on a lighter wall and keep nearby surfaces calm — plain timber, plaster, linen — and it will feel grounded rather than heavy.

It can do both. As a solo piece it has real presence above a desk or console. In a small cluster, it pairs best with other black-and-white work — ink drawings, woodcuts, early modern sketches — where the palette stays consistent. Mixing it with bright, saturated colour art usually fights the graphic energy, so keep companions quiet.

Pared-back, slightly moody rooms with warm neutrals and dark wood. Think study, hallway, entryway or a calm living room with plaster or off-white walls. It also works in a transitional dining room above a sideboard. Rooms heavy with floral pattern, pastels or bright primaries are not the right fit — the linework needs space around it to breathe.
