About This Art

What's the hallway missing? Warm sand and deep orange with some nerve. This William Morris-inspired butterfly poster brings a bit of weight and a bit of bookishness without going full library. Put it up and the wall stops being a wall — it starts feeling like the front room of a house with proper character. It earns its keep above a narrow console, in a study above the desk, or on a quiet stretch of hallway you walk past every day. Pair with oak, warm linen, aged leather and brass. Skip the high-gloss white and the cool greys — they fight the warm background. An oak or black frame lifts the vintage feel.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the butterfly the main focus, or does the foliage compete with it?

The butterfly is clearly the hero. It sits dead centre and takes up most of the middle of the print. The ferns, berries and leaves frame it without crowding — they're painted in softer, more muted tones so your eye lands on the orange wings first.

Will the warm sand background clash with cool grey walls?

It can fight a bit. The background is a warm cream-yellow, so it sings against off-white, warm cream, olive or muted clay walls. On a cool grey wall it'll still read fine but loses some of its glow — consider an oak frame to bridge the temperature.

Is the typography readable from across the room, or is it more of a detail?

More of a detail. 'William Morris' reads from across a small hallway, but the 'South Kensington' and date lines are designed to reward a closer look — like a real exhibition poster. Hang it where people walk past closely rather than across a large open room.
