About This Art

Even the linen in here starts looking expensive next to dusty rose peony. That blush bloom against deep sage foliage does the heavy lifting — the rest of the room just leans in. Hang it on a chalky off-white wall above a low sideboard or at the head of the bed, where the cream border can breathe and the dark green ground reads as depth rather than weight. Pair it with woven baskets, brass candlesticks, books in linen jackets, and a single ceramic vase — anything with a handmade edge. Don't crowd it with other florals or busy patterned textiles; this peony wants to be the loudest soft thing in the room. The art print finish keeps the inked detail and typographic credits crisp.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the dusty pink clash with warm wood floors and oak furniture?

No — this is exactly the palette it was built for. The peony pink is dusty rather than candy, sitting closer to plaster pink, and it warms up against oak, walnut and rattan rather than fighting them. The deep sage foliage grounds it so the pink never feels saccharine. Avoid pairing with cool greys or pure white furniture, which will make the pink read pinker than it is.

Is the typography ('William Morris / British Design / London / Textiles') part of the artwork or can it be cropped out?

It's an integral part of the design — the print is composed as an exhibition poster, with the cream border and serif credits acting as a frame around the bloom. The text doesn't dominate but it does anchor the piece stylistically. If you want a pure botanical with no lettering, this isn't the right one; if you like the museum-poster feel, that's the whole point.

Does the dark green background make this feel heavy in a small room?

Less than you'd think. The dark sage is concentrated behind the bloom, and the wide cream border around the whole poster keeps the overall piece feeling light on the wall. In a small bedroom or hallway it reads as depth rather than weight, especially against an off-white or pale sage wall. In a very dark room it will recede — pair it with warm lighting if so.
