I Googled the Colors I Wanted and Found my Perfect Print
I just moved from a three-bedroom, two story house to a two bedroom ground floor apartment. This is the start of my new life and I want new things in my new place. I stumbled across Fab by Googling, "Print, gold, teal, brown" and they popped up. I found the perfect picture in the perfect orientation with the perfect frame. My anal-retentive brother came over and hung it for me--Perfectly level! It looks perfect. I'm already eyeballing another print for my bedroom that has yet to be decorated. I'll definitely buy from them again.
The colors are vibrant and the quality of the print is excellent. The paper it is printed on is very good quality, too. Will definitely buy more prints from you, I've very impressed with overall.
Beautifully framed and good quality print with vivid colours just as the photograph
Beautifully framed and good quality print with vivid colours just as the photograph. The whole thing is lightweight the only negative was the fixing on the back instead of having one in the middle there were two so made it quite awkward to attach to the wall would prefer a centre fixing for the artwork considering it’s not heavy. Will order again . great communication and customer service reliable company.
My Matisse framed art print is beautiful! The black frame is perfect
My Matisse framed art print is beautiful! The black frame is perfect. The covering is not glass but a much lighter weight material. I was able to string wire between the two hangers on the back to hang it.
recently purchased this print and I couldn't be happier with it. The quality is outstanding — the colors are vibrant, the details are crisp and sharp, and it looks even better in person than in the photos. It arrived quickly and well-packaged, with no creases or damage at all.
The print has brought so much life and personality to my wall. It's beautifully designed and really fibishes the look off.

What's the difference between color field, geometric, and gestural abstract art, and which suits a bedroom?
Color field abstraction uses broad, softly blended expanses of color with little visible brushwork, aiming for atmosphere and quiet immersion. Geometric abstraction relies on planned shapes, grids and clean edges for order and balance, while gestural abstraction records the movement of the artist's hand through drips, sweeps and energetic marks, so it reads as dynamic and sometimes turbulent. For a bedroom, color field or soft-toned geometric pieces usually suit best because they calm the eye; save high-energy gestural work for a single focal wall if you want more drama. How do I match abstract wall art to my bedding, headboard and wood tones?
Start with your bedding and headboard, not the wall: pull two or three colors already in the room and choose abstract art that echoes at least one, letting the rest add gentle contrast. Match undertones rather than exact shades. Warm oak, walnut and cherry sit well with terracotta, ochre, cream and sage; ash, whitewashed or gray-washed woods favor blues, soft grays and cool neutrals. A frame finish that repeats your wood or metal hardware ties everything together, and sizing art to roughly two-thirds of the headboard width keeps the wall balanced. For a related option, explore our Bedroom Art Prints.
What size abstract art should I hang above my bed?
Your art should sit at roughly two-thirds the width of your headboard. For a standard UK double (135cm wide), that means a 70x100cm or 60x80cm print hits the sweet spot. Go too small and it looks like an afterthought floating on the wall. We offer abstract art prints for bedroom walls up to 70x100cm framed, which works perfectly as a statement piece above most beds without overwhelming the space.
Is abstract art actually a good choice for a bedroom?
Honestly, abstract art is one of the best choices for a bedroom because it sets a mood without demanding your attention the way a busy figurative piece does. You want your bedroom to feel calm when you're winding down and energising when you wake up, and the right abstract print does both. Softer abstracts with muted tones or gentle organic shapes work brilliantly above a bed, while something bolder with more colour can anchor a feature wall you see first thing in the morning. The key is picking a palette that actually complements your bedding and walls rather than fights them.
What colours work best for abstract bedroom art?
We'd steer you towards warm neutrals, dusty pinks, sage greens, or deep navy if your bedroom leans calm and restful. For a more energising space, ochre, terracotta, or rich teal abstracts add warmth without being jarring. The trick is to pull a secondary colour from your existing bedding or curtains and let the art echo it. Avoid matching your wall colour too closely or the print will disappear. Our colourful abstract art for bedroom collections print on thick matte paper with no glare, so the colours read true even in softer bedroom lighting.
Where should I hang abstract art in my bedroom if not above the bed?
The wall opposite your bed is hugely underrated. It's the first thing you see when you wake up, so a striking abstract print there sets the tone for your entire day. Above a chest of drawers or a bedroom console is another strong option, where a 40x50cm or 50x70cm framed piece creates a finished, intentional look. Avoid hanging anything meaningful behind a wardrobe door or in a corner you never look at. Our framed abstract prints arrive ready to hang with fixtures already attached, so you can try a position, step back, and commit in minutes.
How do I choose abstract art for a bedroom without it looking tacky?
The biggest culprit for tacky-looking bedroom art isn't the art itself, it's cheap framing: warped edges, prints that bubble behind the glass, or frames that look like they came from a pound shop. Start with a quality piece that's properly fitted in its frame (all our prints ship framed and ready to hang, no DIY assembly). Then stick to one or two prints rather than covering every wall, and make sure the scale is right for the space. A single large abstract art print for your bedroom will always look more considered than a cluster of tiny mismatched frames.
