Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The word 'beer' reads from a few metres away, but the two joke definitions underneath are smaller and meant to be read up close. That's why it works best at eye-level above a bar cart, sideboard or counter where guests will be standing within a metre or two.

On deep walls like navy, forest green or charcoal it stands out sharply, which can be the point — it almost glows. On softer off-white or pale grey walls it sits more quietly and lets the black type do the work. A black frame helps anchor it on lighter walls.

The jokes are in plain English and reference frat boys, dads and oatmeal stout — all of which read fine in the UK, US, Australia and most English-speaking markets. No regional slang, no puns that need translating, no in-jokes that age badly.
