Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The checkerboard is painted by hand, so the deep red squares show real brush drag and softer edges rather than sharp printed lines. That looseness carries through the print and is a big part of why the piece feels warm and personal rather than graphic or mass-produced.

The blue is a soft, chalky sky tone and the red is dusty rather than bright, so both sit happily with cream, oat, terracotta and painted timber. It works best against warm white or chalky plaster walls, and pairs nicely with rattan, linen and stoneware.

It reads as modern folk rather than childlike, so it suits adult spaces well. In a bedroom it adds personality above a painted chest, and in a dining room it works between windows or above a sideboard, especially with rattan chairs and simple linen.
