About This Art

By late afternoon, the typography stops looking decorative and starts working. The words settle into the room and become a quiet daily reminder — about the people, the places and the memories that actually matter. The soft sage background keeps the message gentle rather than shouty, so it lifts a room without taking it over. Hang it in an entryway, above a hallway console, in a family kitchen or a calm bedroom, where you'll walk past it often. It sits well with pale oak, cream linen, woven baskets and warm brass. Skip it if your walls are already covered in busy gallery prints or strong patterns — this one wants a little breathing room to land properly.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the sage green background closer to a soft muted green or a bright green?

It's a soft, muted sage — gentle and slightly grey-toned rather than bright or grassy. It sits comfortably next to cream, off-white, pale oak and warm brass, and won't fight existing neutrals. If your room runs bright primary greens or strong emerald, the softness here may read a little quieter than expected.

Will the typography be easy to read from across a room?

Yes. The lettering is bold, black and high-contrast against the soft sage, so the full quote reads clearly from a few metres away. A medium size works well for most hallway, entryway and kitchen walls. Go larger only if you're placing it on a longer wall where you'll view it from further back.

Does this work as a housewarming or wedding gift?

It's a popular choice for both. The message about people, places and shared memories suits couples settling into a new home, milestone anniversaries and weddings. The soft sage palette is easy to live with, so it slots into most existing schemes rather than asking the recipient to redecorate around it.
