About This Art

Unlike most cityscape art, this doesn't wait for approval. It walks in loud, sets the tone, and dares the rest of the room to keep up. Turquoise sea, a pastel hillside town and a beach full of bright umbrellas — it carries a whole holiday on one wall.

Put it up and the room warms by a few degrees. Quiet schemes get a shot of colour, neutral walls suddenly have somewhere to look, and the rest of the furniture starts behaving like the supporting cast.

Works best as a solo statement in a living room, hallway or above a sideboard. It also lifts a darker corner where a bit of summer would do some good.

Pair with linen, pale oak, rattan, and a few stoneware ceramics. Brass picture lights or warm bulbs make the turquoise sing in the evening.

Don't crowd it with other busy prints or pattern-on-pattern textiles — this one wants room to breathe. Stretched over a wooden frame and ready to hang straight out of the box.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the bright umbrellas clash in a neutral living room?

Not really — the background is mostly soft sandy stone and turquoise sea, so the bright umbrellas read as accents rather than the whole picture. In a neutral room with linen, oak and white walls, the colour lifts everything without taking over. Just keep nearby cushions and rugs fairly quiet so the print stays the focus.

Does the painting show a specific place on the Amalfi Coast?

It reads as Positano — the pastel hillside town stacked above the beach, the church domes and the curved bay are the giveaways. It's a painterly interpretation rather than a photographic record, so you get the feeling of the place rather than a literal map of every building.

Is it better in portrait orientation above a sofa or a console?

Both work. Above a sofa, go large so the print spans roughly two-thirds of the sofa width. Above a slim console or sideboard in a hallway it can run a bit taller, since the portrait shape draws the eye up. Avoid hanging it too high — keep the centre roughly at eye level.
