About This Art

No, the mustard yellow doesn't soften the room. It defines it. Hang this in a kitchen and the whole corner picks up warmth — the bright red pot and striped cup give you a shot of colour that pale cabinets and stone worktops badly need. It works above a breakfast table, on a narrow wall beside the fridge, or over a low sideboard in a dining room. Pair it with pale wood, black metal handles, stoneware mugs and simple linen. Keep the wall behind it plain — off-white or warm clay. What not to do: crowd it with fussy florals, small framed recipe prints or anything with competing red. It wants elbow room and one clear wall. On premium fine-art paper the flat colour blocks stay crisp and the pencil linework reads clearly up close.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the mustard yellow and red work in a small kitchen?

Yes, as long as the wall behind it is plain. In a small kitchen the warm yellow and red act like an accessory rather than a wall colour, so you get the lift without losing light. Keep other accents quiet — pale wood, off-white, black metal — and let this be the one bright thing on the wall.

What size suits the wall above a breakfast table?

A medium portrait size is the sweet spot. You want the print to sit comfortably within the width of the table, with roughly 60cm of clear wall to work with and around 70cm between the table top and the bottom edge. Go larger only if the wall is wide and otherwise empty.

Does it still work outside a kitchen?

It does. The three simple shapes read well above a low sideboard in a dining room, and it can wake up a short hallway wall or a home office corner. Anywhere you'd happily drink coffee suits it. It's less at home in a bedroom, where the bright colour keeps the eye busy.
