When the bedroom feels over-arranged, this kind of cosy illustration helps. It gives the room a focal point that's calm, human and a bit playful, without going twee.

How do I frame an art print?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Will the mustard background look too strong in a small bedroom?
It's warm but balanced rather than neon — closer to a soft ochre than a primary yellow. In a small bedroom it tends to feel cosy rather than overwhelming, especially with cream or oat bedding nearby. If your walls are already a strong colour, give it a calm off-white wall to sit on.
Is the face shown in any detail, or is it abstracted?
The face is intentionally left blank — no features are drawn. The focus is on the gesture of reading, the blanket and the cup. It reads as a quiet, anonymous figure rather than a specific person, which makes it easier to live with day to day.
Does it work above a bed if my headboard is already patterned?
Probably not the best fit. The striped blanket inside the print is doing a lot of pattern work already, so a patterned headboard underneath will compete. It sits best above a plain upholstered, wooden or rattan headboard, where the stripes can be the only pattern on that wall.
