No, the deep red doesn't soften the room. It defines it. A flat, cut-out desert scene — soft yellow bench, pale moon, dark ridge — sits against a warm red ground that pulls the eye straight across the wall.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

Is the red overwhelming in a small room?

The red is bold but it's a deep, warm shade rather than a bright primary, so it reads as a focal colour rather than a shouty one. In a small room, keep walls off-white, the rest of the palette quiet, and give the print room to breathe. It does best as the only loud thing in the room.

Does it work in a north-facing room with cool light?

It can, but you'll want warm lamplight to balance the cool daylight. The reds and yellows want some warmth around them. In a cool, grey-leaning room, the print can feel like it's shouting against the scheme. Warm timber, cream linen and softer bulbs help bring it back into the room.

Is the composition centred or weighted to one side?

The bench sits roughly central but the cactus pulls weight to the lower right and the moon to the upper left. It reads as balanced rather than symmetrical. Hang it centred on the wall — it does the diagonal work itself, and trying to offset it usually looks like a mistake.
