About This Art

Rooms go quieter when navy is this sure of itself. The dark sky fills the whole picture, and the gold and soft pink stars do the talking. Hang it and a room stops feeling like a to-do list. Bedside lamps read warmer, pale walls look softer, and the corner it sits in becomes the calm bit of the house. It works above a bed or cot, in a narrow hallway, or on a small wall beside a reading chair. Pair it with linen bedding, pale wood, brass handles and one plain ceramic lamp. Don't crowd it with busy patterns or bright primary colours — the glow needs a bit of breathing space around it. Printed on premium fine-art paper, so the deep blue stays even and matte.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will such a dark piece make a small bedroom feel gloomy?

Not usually. Because the navy is one even field rather than lots of dark detail, it reads as a calm block of colour and makes the wall look deeper rather than heavier. Keep the wall around it pale or plain, hang it low over a bed or chest, and have a warm lamp nearby so the gold stars catch the light.

Does it work in a nursery once the child gets older?

Yes. There are no characters, letters or baby motifs, so it moves easily from a cot wall to a child's bedroom and then to a spare room or hallway. Many people start it above a cot and later rehang it above a bedside table or a desk without it looking outgrown.

What should I hang next to it if I want more than one piece?

Keep companions quiet and lighter. Simple line drawings, soft abstracts or a plain moon-phase piece in off-white, pale grey or soft pink all sit well beside it. Let this one be the biggest and most central, and leave a little more space around it than you would between two light prints.
