Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It can, if the room is already pattern-heavy. In a small room, keep the surrounding walls plain and the furniture relatively quiet — a solid sofa, a single timber piece — and the print becomes the focal point rather than competing noise. Hang it slightly lower than usual so the dense lower half sits near eye-level.

The gold tones are printed, not foil or metallic. They read warm and luminous in lamplight thanks to the depth of the surrounding deep blues and dark trunks, but the surface itself is a flat matte finish — no shine, no reflective coating.

Honestly, not its best home. The warm gold, terracotta and rust want warm company — oak, walnut, mustard, aged leather. In a cool grey scheme the print will look slightly stranded. If your room runs cool, look for something with more blue-grey in its palette.
