November is when this one earns its keep. By four the light has gone, the garden is sticks, and a wall that looked fine in June looks like a wall. Hang it above the bed and that pale blue-green sky carries on where the window gives up. Deep green branches pick up whatever evergreen is left outside. One cluster of mustard leaves warms the room before any lamp goes on. Keep what sits under it plain. Washed linen, a painted headboard, soft grey on the wall rather than brilliant white. Nothing else in the eyeline. Come spring it still works, but in the dark months it is the thing you look at. Stretched on canvas, the brushwork reads like the painting it is.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?

Will the colours work with soft grey walls?
Yes, and better than with brilliant white. Soft grey sits close to the pale blue-green of the sky, so the wall and the artwork read as one surface and the deep green branches and mustard leaves do the work. On brilliant white the sky can look cold. Warm off-white and pale sage also work. Avoid strong blue walls, which fight the sky for attention.
What size should I go for above a double bed?
Go large. Above a standard double, aim for something around two thirds the width of the headboard so the branches read as trees rather than fine texture from across the room. Smaller sizes lose the detail at bed distance and the piece starts to look like a swatch. Leave a hand's width of clear wall between the headboard top and the bottom edge.
Does it feel gloomy in a room with little natural light?
No. The sky is pale and high-key, so it lifts a dim room rather than sinking into it. Bare branches and a moon sound wintry, but the mustard leaves and sage keep it mild rather than bleak. In a north-facing bedroom it holds its colour late into the afternoon. Pair it with a warm lamp and washed linen and the room reads calm, not dark.
