Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

It can, if the wall around it is also dark. On a chalky off-white, warm cream or pale plaster wall, the navy reads as rich rather than heavy, and the creamy peony actually opens the space up. Avoid hanging it on a navy or charcoal wall in a small room — it loses contrast and gets murky.

Both share the weight. The peony fills the lower two-thirds with creamy petals and pulls the light in; the butterfly sits across the upper half with warm brown wings and gives the eye a single point to land on. Read together they balance — neither one shouts louder than the other.

Both work. Above a bed it acts as a calm, grown-up anchor — not a pastel floral. In a study or reading corner it leans more scholarly, especially with oak, leather and brass nearby. The portrait shape suits a single-bed headboard or a narrower wall above a double better than a wide king-size run.
