About This Art

Put bluntly, your hallway can carry more washed blue than it thinks. This watercolour Paris scene — a café front, balconied buildings, and two leafy trees framing the view — brings colour without weight, because the blues are soft and the cream buildings keep things light.

Hang it and the wall stops feeling like a corridor. The vertical stack of windows and rooftops pulls the eye up, which makes ceilings feel taller and narrow spots feel less narrow.

It works above a console in an entryway, beside a bed, or on a quiet hallway wall. Eye-level or just above a low piece of furniture is the sweet spot.

Pair it with oak or pale wood, linen, soft greens in pots, and warm metals like brass. Cream walls flatter it; pale grey-blue walls make the rooftops sing.

What not to do: don't crowd it with other busy travel prints. One quieter botanical nearby is plenty. Stretched over a wooden frame and ready to hang straight from the box.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Is the shopfront signage legible or just suggested?

The signage is loosely suggested rather than spelled out. You get the feel of a French café front — striped awning, lettering, small bistro chairs — without a readable name. That keeps the print feeling like a memory of Paris rather than an advert for a specific place.

Will the blue rooftops feel cold in a warm room?

The blues are washed and soft, not icy, and they sit next to cream buildings and green trees. In a warm room with oak, brass or linen, the blue reads as fresh rather than cold. It tends to cool an over-warm room down a touch, in a good way.

Does the composition work well in portrait orientation above a console?

Yes. The buildings stack vertically and the trees frame the sides, so the eye travels up the print. That suits a portrait spot above a console, side table or narrow stretch of hallway wall where horizontal art would feel cramped.
