About This Art

Watch the robin land, then the bright orange start doing damage. It only covers a small part of the picture, but it pulls every eye in the room straight to it. Hang it on a plain oat or off-white wall and the whole corner reads deliberate rather than empty — a small piece of colour doing the work of a whole feature wall. It sits well above a kitchen counter, over a writing desk, or at eye level in a hallway where you pass it ten times a day. Pair it with pale wood, cream linen, black metal and plain stoneware. Skip busy florals or patterned wallpaper next to it; the dashes and stripes here need clear space to land. As a canvas, the edges wrap round the wooden frame and it hangs straight from the box.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the bright orange clash with my kitchen?

It sits happily with off-white, oat, grey and pale wood kitchens, and with black metal fittings. The orange only covers a small part of the picture, so it reads as an accent rather than a colour scheme. Where it gets trickier is against pink, deep red or terracotta walls, since those tones compete with the same warmth.

Is this too bold for a nursery or kids' room?

Not at all. The shapes are simple, the bird is friendly and the background is a soft oat, so it lands as cheerful rather than loud. Children tend to like the dashes and stripes. If the room already has lots of bright toys and bedding, hang it on the quietest wall so it still gets noticed.

Does it work on its own or does it need other pieces?

It holds a wall on its own easily, because the orange gives it a clear focal point. If you'd rather build a group, keep companions calm: line drawings, simple botanicals or other block-print birds in oat, black and blue. Three or four pieces is plenty, with this one placed centrally as the brightest.
