It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Yes. The loops build up most densely along the body and head, so from two or three metres away the shape reads clearly as a standing dachshund. Up close you see the tangle of individual lines instead. That shift is part of the appeal, so hang it somewhere you pass at both distances, like a hallway.

It works best on pale walls — off-white, soft grey, or a light greige — because the print's own white background then blends into the wall and only the black lines stand out. On a dark or strong colour the white block will look like a bright rectangle, so if your walls are deep, choose a larger size and a frame that separates the two.

Yes, as long as the partner piece is also mostly line and mostly white. Two portrait prints hung side by side with a hand's width between them works well. Avoid pairing it with a detailed or colourful dog portrait, as the two treatments compete and neither gets the empty space it needs.
