Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It holds up well. The soft grey outlines, warm brown pebble and clay tones give enough definition to read clearly against cream, oat or chalky off-white walls. If your wall is very bright white, an oak or brown frame adds a warm edge so the piece doesn't drift into the paintwork.

The palette is genuinely gentle: soft pinks, cream, warm brown, pale grey and a single deeper caramel shape. Nothing shouts. If you're after a bolder abstract with stronger contrast, this one will feel quieter than expected. If you want a calm, textural piece, that softness is the point.

It can, but it works best as the calm anchor rather than another layer. Pair it with plain linen, plaster walls and one or two textural pieces. In a heavily patterned room with florals or bold rugs, the shapes may get lost and the piece stops earning its wall space.
