About This Art

Three things it does fast: ground navy blue, sharpen brass, wake a living room. A dark wall stops looking flat once those gold lights are on it, and the whole room reads warmer after dark. Hang it above a sofa, a sideboard or a bed, roughly at eye level, and give it a little clear wall on each side so the tall shape can breathe. Around it, keep things tactile: velvet or wool cushions, aged leather, dark timber, warm brown stoneware, a low lamp rather than a bright overhead. What not to do: don't crowd it with other busy patterned pieces or cool grey chrome and glass, which flatten the warm glow. As a canvas, the thick brushwork reads like a real painting on the wall.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will this look too dark on a small wall?

It reads dark from a distance, but the gold path and star shapes stop it feeling like a black block. On a small wall, keep the surrounding surface plain and add a nearby lamp. If the wall is narrow, a large upright size still works better than a small one, because the fine detail needs room to be seen.

Does it work in a room with lots of daylight?

Yes, though it behaves differently. In bright daylight the navy flattens slightly and the gold looks softer. It comes alive in the evening under lamplight, when the warm tones lift. If your room is very bright all day, hang it on the wall that gets less direct sun so the contrast holds.

What wall colour suits it best?

Deep blue, charcoal and dark green all work, because the picture already lives in that range and the gold reads as light. Chalky off-white is the other strong option, giving a clean border around all that dark paint. Avoid cool grey with a blue undertone, which can make the whole thing look flat.
