About This Art

What's the hallway missing? Mustard yellow with some nerve. This loose watercolour of a Tuscan hillside — white farmhouses, dark cypress spires, golden fields under a clear blue sky — does the heavy lifting in one go.

The room shifts the moment it goes up. Walls that read flat suddenly feel sunlit, and a corridor that gets used and ignored finally has something to look at.

Hang it at eye level above a console or sideboard, or use it as the anchor on a narrow wall between two doors. It also earns its keep above a bed or a small dining setup.

Pair it with oak or pale timber, linen, terracotta pots, and warm cream walls. A jug of olive branches or a stoneware lamp underneath finishes the scene without competing.

Don't crowd it with other busy landscapes — let this one speak. Stretched canvas arrives ready to hang, with a clean painted edge that suits relaxed rooms.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the yellow look too loud against cream or off-white walls?

No — the yellow in this print sits in warm, sun-bleached territory rather than electric or neon. Against cream or off-white plaster walls it reads as sunshine rather than shouting, and the dark cypress greens and sky blue keep the overall balance grounded. If your walls are very cool grey, hang it with warm timber or rattan nearby to bridge the temperature.

How busy is the composition — does it work in a small room?

It's moderately detailed but the eye lands quickly on the white farmhouses and cypress spires, so it doesn't feel cluttered. In a small hallway or compact bedroom, go for the medium size and hang it as the only piece on that wall. Avoid pairing with other busy landscapes in the same room — let this one carry the view.

Is the road and foreground intended, or does the print feel unfinished at the bottom?

The pale, lightly washed foreground is intentional — it's a sketchbook-style watercolour where the artist lets paper breathe through the lower edge. That negative space helps the print sit calmly above a console or sideboard without feeling top-heavy, and it's a hallmark of travel-watercolour work rather than an unfinished detail.
