All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

• Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  
• We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  
• Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  
• Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

It prints as a warm, slightly muted gold rather than a metallic foil — closer to old gilded book covers than shiny paint. Under warm lamp-light in the evening the detail picks up nicely and reads richer; in cool daylight it sits a touch more ochre. The effect is heritage and painterly, not flashy.

At the large size and viewed from around 1.5–2.5 metres the WILLIAM MORRIS banner and COTTON PRINTS EXHIBITION line read clearly. The smaller dates and times line is intentionally fine print — legible close-up, decorative from across the room. If you want every word readable from the sofa, size up.

It sits between the two — a deep inky near-black with a slight warm undertone rather than a flat printer black. That means it plays nicely with dark green, oxblood and warm browns on the surrounding walls, rather than fighting them the way a pure cold black sometimes does.
