La mayoría de las estancias tienden a lo cálido sin proponérselo: suelos de pino, una pared marfil, una lámpara encendida… y al atardecer todo toma un tono tostado. Este lienzo, con un sombrero violeta intenso sobre fondo blanco tiza, aporta el contrapunto fresco. En la cocina, junto a la placa, el morado profundo se lee casi azul contra azulejos de terracota, evitando que la pared se vuelva anaranjada. En un despacho con paredes verde oscuro logra el efecto contrario: arrastra el verde hacia un matiz más frío, afinando el ambiente y haciéndolo más despierto. Debajo, el pino encerado funciona. También el cuero envejecido. Con bombillas cálidas el violeta vira a ciruela; con luz de día, a azul marino, y en ambos casos se ve perfecto. El formato pequeño luce especialmente bien aquí. El lienzo va tensado sobre un bastidor de madera y llega listo para colgar.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

¿El morado parecerá negro visto desde lejos?
A una distancia normal de visión, los sombreros se leen como violeta intenso más que como negro, sobre todo contra una pared cálida o de tono medio. Sobre una pared blanca pura con luz plana se oscurecen, así que mejor un fondo de color o una lámpara cerca. En tamaño medio, los tallos lila y el fondo claro evitan que el conjunto se vea pesado.

¿El sujeto es demasiado pequeño para una pared cuadrada sobre una consola?
Encima de una consola, lo ideal es que sea la pieza principal de esa pared. Un tamaño medio, colgado para que el centro quede a la altura de los ojos, llena una pared de unos 90 cm sin recargarla. El fondo blanquecino hace gran parte del trabajo, así que evita irte a un tamaño grande. En versión demasiado grande, un estudio delicado acaba pareciendo un póster de una seta.

¿Funciona en un dormitorio o es más bien una pieza para cocina?
Funciona en un dormitorio si las paredes son cálidas, de arcilla suave o verde apagado, mejor que gris pálido. Cocina y estudio le sientan mejor porque allí el violeta hace su trabajo refrescante sobre la madera y el azulejo. En un dormitorio gris frío, el morado puede verse un poco sombrío, así que combínalo con lino en tonos cálidos.
