How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the orange background as bright as it looks on screen?
The orange is a warm, slightly peachy orange rather than a sharp neon. It reads as cheerful and warm in daylight and softens further under warm bulbs in the evening. If your room already has strong orange or terracotta walls, it will compete; against white, cream or pale wood, it sits really well.
Will it suit a child's room without feeling babyish?
Yes — the linework is loose and scratchy rather than cute or cartoonish, so it works from toddler years right through to older kids and teens. It also holds up in a grown-up kitchen, playroom or hallway, which means you don't have to swap it out as the child grows.
What size works best above a single bed or low bookshelf?
A medium size is the sweet spot. The artwork is laid out as a grid of six birds, so going too small loses the detail in each character. Aim for the print to fill roughly two-thirds of the width of the bed or shelf below it, hung at the child's eye level.
