How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the olive and cream stripes clash with patterned kitchen tiles?
It depends on the tile. Plain stone, terracotta or simple subway tiles sit happily alongside the stripes. Busy patterned tiles — strong florals, bold geometrics, encaustic patterns — will compete. If your splashback is already doing the heavy lifting, hang this on a quieter wall away from the tile so each piece can breathe.
Does this work in a modern kitchen, or only farmhouse ones?
It can work in a modern kitchen if there is some warmth in the room — timber worktops, painted cabinets, stoneware on display. In a very sharp, all-white, high-gloss kitchen it will feel like an outlier. Pair it with natural materials and softer paint colours and it settles in nicely.
Is the bay laurel detailed enough to read from across the room?
Yes. The leaves are drawn in strong charcoal lines against a pale cartouche, so the silhouette holds from a distance. Up close you get the engraving detail in the veins and stems. A medium size is the sweet spot for most kitchen walls.
