How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

¿El amarillo será demasiado en una cocina pequeña?
No, si el resto de la pared se mantiene lisa. En una cocina pequeña, el amarillo hace el trabajo de una ventana, así que cuélgala donde la veas desde la puerta y deja esa pared libre de otros colores. ¿Qué tamaño debería elegir para una pared sobre una encimera?
Encima de una encimera, elige un formato medio, de unos 40 a 60 cm de alto, para que el borde inferior quede a un palmo por encima de cualquier hervidor o tostadora. Esa altura deja ver las pinceladas cuando estás de pie en la encimera y sigue leyéndose desde el otro lado de la habitación. Los tamaños grandes funcionan mejor en una pared de comedor, donde la miras sentado, pero sobre una encimera resultan imponentes.

¿Necesita muebles rojos o amarillos para tener sentido?
No, y normalmente es mejor sin ellos. La madera clara, los azulejos blancos, el cromo y el algodón liso le dan a la lámina todo el protagonismo cromático, que es como se ve más segura. Un pequeño eco ayuda, un cuenco de limones o una cazuela esmaltada roja en una balda, pero no más. Dos o más y la estancia empieza a parecer un decorado en lugar de una cocina.
