How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the deep red cone clash with terracotta tiles or red cabinets?
It can. The cone is a strong, slightly orange-leaning red, so it sits better against cream, off-white or soft sage walls than against tomato-red cabinets or busy terracotta splashbacks. If your kitchen already runs warm-red, hang this on the quietest wall — a clear painted stretch above a bench or doorway — rather than directly next to the reddest surface.
Is this too childish for a grown-up kitchen?
It's playful but not babyish. The crayon linework and warm off-white background give it a modern-folk, illustrator-poster feel rather than a nursery look. In a kitchen with painted timber, stoneware and linen, it reads as cheerful adult art. If you prefer everything muted and minimal, it will feel loud — pick something quieter.
What size works best above a small kitchen counter or breakfast bench?
A medium portrait — roughly 40 to 60cm wide — is the sweet spot above a counter, coffee bar or low bench. Leave around 15 to 25cm between the top of the worktop and the bottom of the frame. In a wider nook, a single medium piece still reads better than two small ones jammed together.
