How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

¿Funcionará el terracota con un sofá gris?
Depende del gris. Un sofá gris cálido o greige encaja de maravilla debajo, porque los tonos crema y piedra de las crestas comparten esa calidez. Un sofá gris azulado frío tira en la otra dirección y el teja empieza a verse más naranja. Si tu sofá es gris frío, añade un cojín teja o mostaza para que los colores se encuentren a mitad de camino.

¿Qué ancho debería elegir sobre una cama de matrimonio grande?
Una cama king mide unos 150 cm de ancho, así que busca que la obra cubra entre dos tercios y tres cuartos de eso, es decir, unos 100 a 120 cm de ancho. Algo más estrecho se ve perdido sobre el cabecero. Cuélgala de modo que el borde inferior quede a un palmo por encima del cabecero, y mantén las lámparas de mesilla bajas para que queden por debajo de las crestas.

¿Se siente recargada en un salón pequeño?
Menos de lo que imaginas. Las bandas de color siguen una sola dirección, así que la vista se mueve en horizontal a lo largo de ellas en lugar de saltar de un lado a otro, y eso se percibe como calma incluso en un espacio pequeño. Lo importante es darle su propia pared. Deja la pared despejada alrededor y elige textiles lisos en lugar de estampados debajo.
