How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the player anyone in particular, or is it a generic figure?
The figure is painted loosely with no visible team logo, name or number, so it reads as a generic basketball player mid-dunk. That keeps it usable for any fan of the sport rather than tying it to one team or player.
Will the deep black background look too heavy in a smaller bedroom?
It can. The black does most of the work in this piece, so in a small room with pale walls it will pull a lot of attention. It tends to look best on a mid-tone or darker wall, or in a room with at least one other dark element — a black lamp, dark bedding, a charcoal rug.
Does it work above a bed, or is it better behind a desk?
Either works. Above a bed it reads as a clear statement and pairs well with plain bedding. Behind a desk it gives a bit of swagger to a home office. Just give it some breathing room — don't crowd it with smaller frames on the same wall.
