How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the yellow look too bright in a small kitchen?
The yellow is buttery rather than acidic, and the sage background does most of the heavy lifting. In a small kitchen it acts like a single warm accent — similar to a brass handle or a bowl of lemons — rather than overwhelming the space. If your walls are already strong yellow or orange, choose a different anchor; on sage, olive, cream or chalky off-white it sits comfortably.
Does this work in a dining room as well as a kitchen?
Yes. Above a small dining table, sideboard or console it reads as a relaxed trattoria cue rather than a literal kitchen poster. Pair with warm wood, terracotta or stoneware tableware and cream linen. It's most at home in a casual, food-loving dining space; very formal dining rooms with dark heritage walls and gilt mirrors are a less obvious fit.
Will it clash with a cool blue-grey kitchen?
Most likely, yes. The warm yellow and earthy brown lean firmly into warm territory, so a cool blue-grey or icy white scheme will fight rather than flatter it. If your kitchen is in that family, look for a print with cooler greens, blues or monochrome tones instead. On sage, olive, oak, cream or terracotta backdrops, this piece does its best work.
