While I love the photo, the quality is extremely delicate which caused issues the way it's shipped. They wrap it very tightly in Saran Wrap and roll it up. When you go to unroll it, the photo easily scrapes. I do not have long nails and I have 2 nail scratches on the painting just trying to get it out of the wrapping

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does the print show a specific breed clearly enough to read as a Labrador?
Yes. The profile, broad head, otter tail and creamy yellow coat read as a yellow Labrador, even though the brushwork is soft. It's recognisable as the breed without being a tight likeness of any one dog, which is why it tends to work as a gift for any Lab owner.
Will the warm cream background clash with cool grey or bright white walls?
It can look slightly off against cool grey or stark white. The piece is built on warm neutrals, so it sits best on chalky off-whites, soft creams, warm beiges and pale oat-toned walls. If your room runs cool, an oak or warm brown frame helps bridge it.
Is this better in portrait orientation above a console, or would it work above a sofa?
Both work. The vertical format suits a console, hallway wall or narrow space between windows. Above a sofa, a medium or large size centred over the cushions holds the wall well — just leave a hand's width of breathing room either side so the calm background can do its job.
