How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
The roses look white — were they always this colour?
No. Van Gogh painted them with a pink pigment that has faded over time, so the original picture had warmer pink tones in the petals. What you see now is true to how the painting looks today in the National Gallery of Art.
Will the soft green background clash with green walls?
It can. The background is a gentle, slightly grey-green — if your walls are a similar tone, the painting will lose its edges and blend in. It looks best on cream, pale plaster, off-white, or a warm neutral wall that lets the green vase and leaves stand out.
Is the composition centred or off to one side?
The bouquet sits roughly centred, but it leans gently up and to the right, with a few stems trailing left. It hangs comfortably as a solo piece and works equally well slightly off-centre above a sofa or sideboard if your wall isn't perfectly symmetrical.
