How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the abbey in the picture Fountains Abbey?
Yes. The building at the centre is the east end of Fountains Abbey, viewed across the lake at Studley Royal Water Garden in Ripon, North Yorkshire. The two sites sit on the same estate and share UNESCO World Heritage status, which is why the poster pairs the garden name with the abbey itself.
Will the deep green tones feel heavy in a small hallway?
No. The greens sit around the edges as framing trees, while the centre opens up to pale sky and water. That keeps the overall feel light rather than closed-in, which is why it works well in narrow hallways and entryways where you don't want a dark, weighty piece.
Is this a photograph or an illustration?
It's an illustrated travel poster, painted in flat shapes rather than photographed. The trees, water and stone are simplified into clean blocks of colour, in the tradition of 1930s British railway posters. It reads as artwork on the wall, not as a printed photo.
