How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the pink blossom a big part of the print or just a small detail?
The blossom takes up the full left side and a good chunk of the bottom corner, so soft pink is one of the strongest colours in the piece. If you want Rome's architecture to dominate and the pink to be incidental, this isn't that print — the blossom is doing real work.
Will it suit a room that runs warm — terracotta, cream, oak — or does it need pale blue around it?
It suits both. The terracotta rooftops and warm cream architecture pick up beige, oak and clay tones, while the pale blue sky and river give it room to breathe in cooler schemes. It bridges the two without clashing.
Does it read as a tourist poster or as proper wall art?
It's a modern illustration with hand-drawn texture rather than a vintage travel poster or souvenir print. The composition is layered and the palette is restrained, so it reads as soft contemporary art that happens to be Rome — not a fridge-magnet version of the city.
