How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the bright green and blue overpower a small bedroom?
Not in our experience. The cream window frame and woman's pale dress give the eye somewhere to rest, so the greens and blues read as fresh rather than loud. In a small room, hang at medium size above the bed or a low piece of furniture and keep the surrounding walls calm — one plant and a lamp is plenty.
Does the figure work for a guest room where lots of different people will sleep?
Yes. She's seen from behind and the focus is really the leafy view through the window, so it reads as a calm garden scene more than a portrait. That makes it easy to live with for guests of any age, and it pairs well with simple linen bedding in cream, oat or pale grey.
Can I hang this in a north-facing room that doesn't get much sun?
It works beautifully there. The bright greens and sky blue act like a borrowed window, lifting cooler light and giving the room a sense of outside even on dull days. Pair it with a warm bulb in a nearby lamp and one timber or rattan piece to keep the overall feel soft.
