How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the rattlesnake going to feel intense above a sofa or bed?
It can. The snake is mid-strike and quite detailed, which gives the plate its drama but also makes it a stronger choice for a study, library, hallway or traditional living room than for a bedroom or nursery. If you want something gentler from the same era, look at Audubon's songbird plates without predators.
What wall colour helps the yellow jessamine and deep greens read best?
Soft, warm backdrops work hardest. Chalky off-white, warm stone, muted sage or a deep heritage green all let the yellow flowers lift and stop the cream background looking flat. Bright cool white walls with grey undertones tend to fight the warm yellows and make the plate feel marooned.
How much wall does it need to feel right?
Treat it as a solo anchor. Aim for at least 70 cm of clear wall width and enough height above a console, desk or sofa for the tall composition to breathe. Don't crowd it with other prints — one piece, eye level, with a bit of empty wall around it does the most for the room.
