How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?
Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the deep navy background feel too heavy on a pale wall?
On cream, sage or warm off-white walls the navy reads as a strong anchor rather than a black hole — it makes the rust of the fox glow. On bright white walls the contrast is sharper and can feel a bit graphic, so soften it with warm timber or a lamp nearby.
Is the Liberty London and Regent Street text part of the artwork?
Yes — the typography is designed into the piece as a faux-vintage exhibition poster. 'Liberty London' sits at the top, 'Cotton Fabrics Exhibition' at the bottom, with the Regent Street address line beneath. It's a styling choice, not removable.
Does this work in a modern room or only in country-leaning interiors?
It's happiest in English country, traditional and grandmillennial rooms, but it does sit well in transitional spaces too — modern furniture with warm woods, linen and brass. Sharp minimalist rooms with chrome and glass aren't the best fit; the pattern asks for softer neighbours.
